New glasses of course will always feel different than older ones as well. I know when I got new ones my depth perception would be slightly off for a few days as my eyes adjusted to them.

I almost never even wore my old glasses.
Also I've always been absolutely awful at judging distance and that might be why.

I never had one, but one of my physics teachers in 8th grade had a tarantula.

Kinda. When I got glasses that actually worked, the world looked completely different, and I'm fairly certain it's because nothing had depth before then. Because anisometropia.

I've also had somewhat poor eyesight since forever, and I was amazed at how clear everything looked once I got my glasses, and it still amazes me to this day. I don't use them normally, mostly for lectures and traveling.

I don't own them. They just live in my room. Like roommates. They're either southern house spiders (Crevice spiders.) Or Brown recluses. house spiders are absolutely harmless to humans. Recluses can kill you with one bite if in a bad spot. Luckily they almost never bite. and shy away from humans as much as they can.

I don't mind spiders, but when they fall in front of my face while I am on the computer it usually means death time for them. Or I will try and lightly ball them up in a paper towel, just enough so they may not die, and if they can get out of the trash then they deserve to live.

I can see objects perfectly fine without glasses, because my right eye has 20/10 vision.
My left eye sucks though, so it basically shuts off most of the time because it seemingly isn't needed. This gives me one perspective on things, thus little depth perception.
By the way, anisometropia is the condition of having unequal measurements of the eyes.
