Still waiting on Wreck-It Ralph to come out on Bluray though. That movie was fucking amazing and definitely up next to HTTYD as one of my favorite movies of all time.
See it if you get the chance. I thought it was great but it seems my opinion isn't shared by that many.
@Solazz: You're welcome.

@ Unc: Yes, you should see Brave. Not great, but still a good movie
@ Blues: Yes, I can't wait for Wreck-it Ralph to come out on DvD. I loved that movie more than any other recent

When I buy pizzas I either buy really pricey gourmet ones or ones from costco, because they are goddamn delicious. 18 inches for ~$12 or whatever? Yes please!

There are a lot of reasons as to why I think it fell short of what it could have been. I'm not saying that it was any length of bad, just that it missed the target they had set up previously. While it may be a problem of them switching writers halfway through, it's still a problem.
One of the main reasons is Merida herself. She comes off as an obnoxious child without any idea of anything throughout the whole movie. The entire cast was fun to watch and entertaining to listen to EXCEPT for Merida. I spent the entire movie watching her in disgust as she fumbled around like an idiot.
Secondly, as I said in my opening statement, they completely changed the story. The movie advertises an amazing adventure of epic proportions in which you learn what it truly means to be brave. What was given was a cliche story about a girl who wanted to be more but was held back. When she tried to change that, it backfired. The cliche there is just too much. It just was terrible that they changed it. We watched the behind the scenes. The guy talking kept talking about how they changed an originally amazing scene to a mediocre one.
Honestly, it's just that they didn't give what I was expecting. I almost had to vomit when I finished watching the behind the scenes stuff. They took an amazing movie about finding what truly makes you brave and turning it into a cliche pile of crap that was nothing like it was advertised.
