S12 upgraded Malev. VS S13 honor Malev.

I've read some conflicting information regarding which will have the better stats out of the current S12 2/2 upgraded Malevolent gear and the upcoming S13 honor gear. I'm wondering if I should just keep getting Malevolent pieces or upgrade the ones I've got before 5.2 hits. It would be nice if anyone could shed some light on this. Sorry if its already been posted here.

there is nothing else to do with your conquest it will be converted to honor.

I've tweeted Ghotcrawler twice about this, but had no reply. Imo it's extremely important that the s13 honor gear is equivilant to upgraded s12, else certain people will have a large advantage until full Tyranical gear (ie. several weeks). But no doubt Blizzard will simply ignore it so that people can't use PvP gear to get around pointless arbitrary Raid Finder Item level requirements, which isn't even worth damaging another PvP season over...

That's obviously not going to happen, can you imagine the outcry?

Im pretty sure Blizzard has stated that the week before season 13 starts that all of the current malevolent gear will be purchasble with honor points but at a reduced ilvl of 476. Which means that the new season 13 gear will probably be higher than that. I seriously doubt blizzard would give us a whole tier with nothing to spend honor on.
