Mouse/keyboard/headset/Mousepad

It's a friends birthday coming up and he has been hinting that he needs some new upgrades, I just need some advice on what mouse/keyboard/headset/mousepad are good enough to play online games on (WoW Diablo 3 etc) and at a decent price. I have around £350 available funds.

Peripherals are really personal, it all comes down to taste.
You can take a look at Marest suggestions which are generally good choices but I would suggest you talk a bit more with your friend and maybe he can point you in the right direction.
