Destiny Clans just said "Random Legendary Weapon" They didn't specifically say if it was an engram or not. I too will have to wait till I get home to see for certain.

I just received a weapon, there was no engram. I got a legendary scout rifle.

I pray that I get an auto rifle. I have a ton of scout rifles, pulse rifles, snipers rifles, fusions rifles, and rocket launchers (6 of them actually).

I have no Auto Rifle yet. I really really want one that has more than a sliver of impact, and i'll be a very happy boy.

Got Time on Target. Which is a downgrade from my current Pulse Rifle = /

Looks like i'm going to have to grind out Crucible Marks to get the Auto Rifle from New Monarchy. Fortunately, i've already gotten my rep with them to rank 2. Shouldn't be too hard to get an extra 100 crucible marks and a rank of rep.

I got Secret Handshake...which I already have, courtesy of the Vanguard package I got when I hit rank 3. Was hoping for a rocket launcher, but I can deal with a second shotgun; after all, that's what alts are for.

I honestly hate duplicates lol. I have a 31, 29 and 25. I just load my guns in the bank before switching characters. Then pick them all up when I log in with the other character. The benefit to this, is that I can upgrade my weapons really fast by doing 3 rounds of bounties on each gun I want to upgrade.

I got a pulse rifle, so being a pulse rifle it was automatically useless. It has decent stats, but the only pulse rifle I've ever liked was bad juju.

I did get my 5th gjallarhorn last night though...lol...

Then I got this machine gun I think is gonna be really badass. The rate of fire is only at like 55%, so it has a really slow rate of fire and it actually has more impact than RoF. It only has a 25 bullet mag, but then it has field scout so it'll probably be around 40. This thing seems like it's gonna hit like a fuckin truck.

Did anyone else find the game kinda lackluster? Tried it for the first time last week and I was rather underwhelmed; felt a bit too much like borderlands Imo. Seems to run like arse as well :l

No. But you can wait in a phase, when a group comes along to open it just coast on in. You get your own vault about the second drop down. Had plenty of people do that during groups I've been on.

Since I am a big fan of borderlands, this game feels good to play.

As for running like crap, I play it on a console, so it runs smoothly.

It seems to be a stable 30fps and runs fine for me "On ps4" not sure how the last gen versions handle it.

I don't mind the game it has improved since release but it still has a lot of work that needs to be done.

Crota’s End – Updates
The existing Pit treasure chest reward moved to killing Ir Yut, the Deathsinger. She has a chance to drop Exotic weapons and armor, class pieces, and Radiant materials.
The Pit treasure chest will now contain Radiant Materials.
Pit Encounter

Removed the physics impulse caused by exploding lanterns.

Bridge Encounter

Players will now be required to cross the bridge in order to complete the bridge encounter.
Players will now be required to wait for the bridge to be completed prior to crossing with the sword.

Deathsinger Encounter

Fixed a rare case where the Shriekers would not spawn, preventing players from reaching the Deathsinger.
Crota Encounter

Two Swordbearers will no longer spawn at the same time at the outset of the encounter.
Crota will now recover from his kneeling state after a player quits.
Fixed a bug that allowed players to remove the “Presence of Crota” using a Radiance Warlock’s Fireborn ability.
Fixed a bug that made the Oversoul appear destroyed to some players in a Fireteam when it was actually still active.

Vault of Glass – Updates
Exotic weapon drops in the Vault of Glass are now Level 32
Getting Swole in the Crucible

The Raid crew wasn’t the only team readying tweaks heading into and out of the holiday season. Our Crucible designers have a few things in the works to add some spice to the early goings of 2015.

Asylum, The Anomaly, and The Burning Shrine maps will be added to existing Clash and Control playlist rotation.
Iron Banner will return, with updated rewards, running from January 13th through January 19th.
Full and final details for Raid, Crucible, and Iron Banner updates will be provided as patch notes next week.

Did they patch VoGs first door? i dont recall seeing that but you used to be able to park your speeder right in the wedge and hop off, it would push you through the door and into the raid.

I wish they would do another PvE event like the Queens bounty again. I really enjoyed it and im not one for the Iron banner besides finishing my Bad Juju quest.

I don't have much play time available in a normal week-day and I'm on GMT+2 time... What are my chances of finding friends / team members?
I did not buy Destiny yet, I am gathering info now.

Depending on your group, maybe an hour or 2. Usually me and my work buds go through and kill Crota with no exploits in an hour and a half. Id say we have a pretty average skill level. If you have to find random people to fill the group it usually takes and additional 30+ minutes from what ive seen. SOmetimes youll get lucky with people that wont leave after one wipe.

As it may, Assault Rifles still kill me before I can even charge up the fusion rifle at Close or Mid-range.
