If i'm just now getting around to playing, do I need to do Golden Lotus dailies?

I took a break from wow due to real life things, and I was wondering if I need to continue Golden Lotus dailies with 5.2 on its way? I'm about 2 days away from revered. If I don't, will it come back to bite me in the ass? Thanks in advance! :3

The big thing with golden lotus is they are a gate for August Celestials and Shado-pan dailies, so if you are a crafter and want any of the recipes that require rep then I would say continue on. If not then LFR/raid with guild for your gear/etc.

You don't need to do them if you don't need the valor or if you don't have use for the neck you can get at exalted (no clue what your gear status is). And what geewhiz80 said. If you care about anything that you can get from August Celestials or Shado-Pan, Golden Lotus is your best buddy for the next two daily resets ^^
