I don't really consider it a main change, but i did re-roll horde just before BC. I always have and will be a shadow priest.
Vanilla: priest, another priest (no transfers back then), warlock
TBC: tried paladin for a while as horde got them, then back to warlock
WotLK: warlock
Cataclysm: warlock
MoP: warlock
Well, I played both my hunter and mage pretty equally in vanilla, did a little bit of raiding on the mage, but nothing major. In TBC, I was a holy pally all through kara and half the raids above that, and a hunter for the rest. Was a DK tank all through wrath and cata, and have now switched to a tank/dps monk. Liking this last one the best so far, heh.
2 times
from my druid to my pally... and back because I didn't like it that much ;0
Never. I doubt I could bring myself to shelve him after all this time.
Warlock->feral druid->blood DK.
Only changed to druid since i were forced in cata, but liked it very much. Began to tank, and had to tank in raid too, so i switched to DK, since druid were stupidly boring to tank with.
Still tanking, so i have him as main, but playing my warlock too. Druid is basically untouched.
Everyone has so much to say
They talk talk talk their lives away
I'd have to say a fair few times. I don't really a have a main, but with the current need for different classes for heroic progression I'm currently rolling a warlock this expac, like I did rogue last expac.
OP should really make a poll for this. I'm curious how many toons the average player goes through.
I've always been a rogue. Started in BC and continue to love it. For the sake of full disclosure I mainly PVE but do enjoy bgs too.
Feral druid until the end of WOTLK, resto shaman ever since
Twice.
Started with hunter.
Went Shaman mid Wotlk
Went monk at the start of MoP
