    I don't like Steam. When you minimize the chat windows it doesn't close like mIRC window and that constant annoying orange flashing on your task bar is pretty annoying.

    You know what happens when you minimize your window when using mIRC for IRC? If you don't, it goes down to where the time, pc's battery, etc, on the right bottom of the task bar. Steam doesn't have that with chat windows and I hate it.

    Plus, steam has almost no customization, etc, like IRC does.

    Skins are just backgrounds, right? You still can't change a person's name to a colour of your like, changing the font(I don't know if you can do this or not tbh) and a bunch of other stuff.

    Not for me! Quite the problem. I'm very picky when it comes to this stuff. :c

    Well color is determined by offline/online/ingame anyway, but you can change the font, how your friends list looks etc. all with skins. It's not just the background lol.
