So in my country there's a sort of festival on the 1st of March called Mărțișor . On this day men usually give little tokens tied with a red and white string to women.

In the other region of Romania, Moldova, men used to get this token from women. But since march was turned more into a women's month, with 8th being mother's day they applied for the 1st of march also.

But still it's a good excuse to try to hook up with women this month, even easier to give the token to your crush and try to hit on her.
