Hai! When did she have her baby? Tesla came May 4. (I don't remember who was here or not the last time I poked in the thread, so forgive me if you already knew.)

He was 7 pounds 10 ounces and 20 inches long. He's now four weeks old (but not exactly a month by the calendar), and at his last pediatrician visit he was 9 pounds 2 ounces and 21 3/4'' long. The crazy thing is that he's only supposed to be a week and three days old if he had arrived on his due date!

I've had a fracture in my knee sewn together. 8 weeks of recovery before I can walk normally on it again.

Ouchie. I've been fortunate that to my knowledge I have never fractured nor broken any bone.

Nah, no ouchie. Just have to keep any weight off it while it heals. It wasn't really a bone fracture, but instead a tear in one of the support pads.

Truth be told, we gotz some health issues up in here. Tesla has GERD and thrush, and I have postpartum depression. But don't worry, I have acknowledged the problem and am working toward a resolution! I just started taking medication to help the situation out and I will be seeing a regular therapist soon as well.

And then everypony will live happily ever after?

Just got done poking the vast majority of those that went to the Midwest meetup, and was thinking of having another one next summer. Figure that will be the best time, since it'd give you enough time to get used to having Tesla around. So what'd you think?

Precisely. I happen to be fortunate enough that I knew the signs from previous experiences with depression and could catch it early, so with medication and therapy I'll be just fine. And Tesla will be OK too, although he absolutely despises the medication for his thrush.

Pure luck apparently. They would've taken me to a hospital in another city but I would've likely died on the way there.

I don't know how it happened, but it's getting fixed. And yup! Most of this summer is going to be spent off my feet.

He is usually pretty cooperative with the medicine for his GERD (basically liquid Zantac), but it doesn't have much of a smell and it isn't sticky. The medicine for the thrush is super sticky and smells like oranges. He may just plain not like orange--not that I can blame him, I'm not much of a fan myself.
