Fotm rerollers rejoice! Now that we all are on the same gear ilvl with no way to outgear fotm classes, they will REALLY shine now.
Awesome news for the PvP community. Glad they are keeping the system where you are able to buy Tyrannical gear with honor after 27k season earned, means I'm not stuck with 1 spec on my hybrids.
so if they are removing resil from most times what are they gonna put on my burst trinket :\ I don't like the idea of an empty stat.
I'll do something witty and clever in this box one day...
I want to see math / sim: max lvl PvP gear vs max lvl PvE gear in world PvP, with all of the PvE gear being enchanted and gemmed for PvP.
There is no official statement from Blizzard on this world PvP issue yet, but what can you expect from a company that is constantly ignoring complaints about flying mounts making players "immune to PvP" for years now? (I hope this was civil enough.)

Honestly? I have no idea what to think of Wow pvp anymore. This expansion's pvp changes disgusted me so much that I'll just hold my breath and wait for more feedback after it goes live.
Great changes indeed. I cant see any reason to be upset about these changes if you are a serious pvper.
The only thing i would like to see added is the possibility to earn honor from arenas after you have capped conquest.
That way we wouldnt have to do shitty battlegrounds if we didnt have to.
Awesome changes. Wow pvp is moving closer to a more balanced state slowly but steady.
Now just seperate all abilities for pvp and pve and its perfect!
But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.
Really loving the new developer.
World pvp isn't fair and never will be. It is likely that raiding gear will be a bit better for world pvp. So what? World pvp isn't and never will be balanced. It will be a lot more balanced than some poor PvE player getting ganked by someone in conquest gear is now though. As a pvper we should be happy for the challenge and realize that most people in pve gear won't stand a chance against us even if their stats are slightly better.
I read it, and it really told me nothing that I already had guessed myself, man I should right these things.....

65% resilience? They already nerfed burst to such a crazy extent. Healers will be even more unkillable now
I've said it before: every problem that we have in pvp OUTSIDE OF GEARING (which is now being addressed) is caused by having healers in pvp.
Remove dedicate healing specs/classes from pvp and cc, burst, sustained, defensive abilities, self-heals, dispels can all be FAR more easily balanced to the extent that we would undoubtedly have the most balanced pvp season ever WITHOUT class homogenization.

You're no PvPer, your post count alone ousts you as PvE guy telling PvP people how great this change in your favor will be for them.
In all honesty, you have no idea about PvP. Currently healers have more than 65% resilience, burst is insanely high and a competent player can drop someone in seconds. A frost mage for example can kill people in a single deep freeze. Peope complaining about healers are usually badly equipped players with no gems, enchants and knowledge of what they're doing trying to solo healers.
I said it before, you're a bad player. You always were, always will be and you should not be taken into account when balancing anything. You're one of the guys not understanding that having 6-7 healers in a 10 man bg is not by any means a decent reflection of how 3on3 or RBG's are balanced and working. You're taking your experience from 2's or random BG's and you're trying to construct your case around that.
On topic. Even increasing PvP power for healers would do little to hide that this is a flat buff for DPS classes and a nerf for healers. If they increase battlefatigue they would have to ramp up PvP power for healers by a hell of a lot to compensate for any kind of increase of battlefatigue. DPS on the other hand get an even higher ammount of PvP power handed to them on a silver platter.
They did say they're removing most, if not all resil on PVP gear thus making 65% the average baseline - healers today have more than that anyway so it's most likely a nerf to them.
I would say the next step would be to nerf instant-cast spells... both for healers, and for DPS. With interrupts now on a longer cooldown relative to interrupt duration, there isn't much justification for instants being so powerful. I'd probably just advocate instants benefiting less from Power than spells with a cast time, seems like it'd be the easiest fix.
Instants would still be useful, but they'd be considerably less potent, and maybe more importantly, a lot less mana efficient.
The one cool change that I see is the one that once you get a Tyrannical piece, that piece costs honor. Now you can start having multiple gear builds to test out.
Everything else I could care less about. I think people in general are over reacting to these changes. As soon as its out, people won't even care anymore. This new gear system will just become the norm next year and people will look back to wotlk and be like "wow there used to be rating requirements on gear and there wasn't a catch up system."
The tri spec thing seems cool too. Now you can have a pvp spec, a solo dailies/pve spec and an extra spec you can customize freely. If it were up to me, I would just scatch the whole going to trainer thing to swap specializations. Its basically becoming even more irreverent with this tri spec change.
