I'm finding coding really fun
Next semester I'll be learning Java I believe, I need to look into the units properly to see exactly what I'll be learning in them. I have 3 computer units and one maths unit next semester, so only know one of the computer units has Java in it.

Just had a look at my next semester courses.
One is on Java(called principles of computer science), one on computational mathematics, then one on computer systems however the computer systems one's description is this:
This unit provides an overview of the hardware and software of computer systems and introduces a number of important topics in computer science: overview of computer system architecture; computer memory, information representation and storage; execution of instructions including ALU, registers, instruction sets, fetch/execution cycle, addressing modes; concepts of software and hardware interrupts, introduction to operating system principles -- process management, memory management and file management; arduino and C language programming
So looks like I'll be learning more C language, but what is arduino?
Then the fourth one is on data communications so things like TCP/IP and OSI.
Sounds like it'll be interesting next semester, hopefully no essays xD
Wass, do you have to write essays at all as a computer science student?

TCP/IP is like... Very useful to know. I bet plenty of ppl here know the basic concepts of it.
