My faves to play thus far have been Zeus, Lina and Disruptor. The first two are big hitters, and the latter trades one damage ability for a CC one. But play around.. there's tons to pick from.

I finished the game, mostly farming Adamantoise at the moment for CP and Gil (almost finished all my Crystareum though), will upgrade Hopes weapon to star level and clear through all the missions and shit. Could do with some more royal armlets though, but yeah, I don't need to do what I'm doing, I'm finding the combat fairly fun now, it was a little meh earlier on, but the constant paradigm switching can be fun.
Still don't like the "main character dead = game over" thing though. +5
