Short of a bit of light teasing (so long as it's not making anyone uncomfortable) I don't see anyone having the slightest issue. First 2 chicks I had were 7 & 6 years older. Best of luck with it.

Actually had my best mate go with a lady 11 years older... that ones a bit... hmmm, (him 18 her 30) they still together so even that clearly shouldn't have been thought badly of. 7 years is fine though

i think a better question is why do you care what other people think

some people cringe at age gaps, because it's just a preference or they haven't really had many relationships and are intimidated by the idea of an older partner treating them like a child or just simply being jealous that someone who is significantly older usually has more to offer than someone who is younger.

Being honest.. that sounds completely fine. On the other hand, not to be a complete ass or to flame you, but the "mature" department might be a problem. Call it a pet peeve..but typing the way you did (such as "u" and "plz") comes off lazy and childish to me. Can't stand seeing people talk like that, sorry lol. Also, your name is "Ron Burgundy" and you have the picture of Cartman from the WoW episode. Maybe that's "funny" in your eyes..to me that's childish. Who knows how she views it but you. Maybe this chick is a goofy 30 year old, and by that I mean laid back and not uptight, but then again, I can be assuming too much from the context clues.
