    quick help with my warrior.

    http://us.battle.net/wow/en/characte...Tyler/advanced

Hello, I'm a 502 ilvl dps warrior in a normal mode raiding guild, that would like to push into heroics either this tier or next (just formed the group 3 weeks ago)
My question is, would I be better off with my weapons (currently TG, normal mode, non-upgraded Shin'ka's) to go arms until I can get a higher level of gear?

Also, would it be worthwhile to drop my Skinning profession to level Engineering? Is the on-use gloves worth it when I lose out on 480 crit at my gear level? (I realize that it probably is at BiS).

Currently using stat weights I got off my sims, but if you guys see anything other than the sha-touched gem that I could do to better optimize my gear to aid our progression, let me know. Thanks in advance.

I'd start with your Prof - the simple answer is no, although if you're min maxxing BiS is BS/Eng. Personally I run Ench/JC (and I know better) just because I always have and its been nice over the years to be able to make my own stuff I don't have a ton of alts.

As far as arms, my opinion would be yes. Especially with the sha gem (Str>Crit for arms by a larger margin even than SMF). But, with what I've seen Arms>TG at lower ilevels. Honestly though, UNLESS you're pushing for every 200dps and you're in a psycho prog guild, its a nominal difference - play your preference.

Hate to bug again, but I recently got 2 1h'ers to drop in a ToT (lucky me), but one of them was http://www.wowhead.com/item=96038 , an agility 1h. Yes, it was Thunderforged. Is the loss in Str made up by the crit and weapon damage? The weapon i was using on council was http://www.wowhead.com/item=86130.

The DPS difference between the two is equivalent to roughly 9000 strength, yes it's worth it by a wide margin.

Going from strength weapon to non-strength thunderforged is roughly +-0. The strength on the weapons is basically nowhere near the value of the dps.
