    Blizzcon...

BLIZZCON 2013 HERE I COME!!!! Woot! Thought I'd share my excitement; feel free to share yours to if you got tickets!

EDIT:So I have some tips and a question! So to answer someones above question its going to cost around 4k to go to Blizzcon but I've never went so... its worth it!

Now for my tip/question. First of all tickets went on sale at 10:59 but at 55 seconds to 11. I bought two tickets and this is my tip DO NOT SELECT QUANTITY! Hit F5 at 10:59 and have the cursor over the checkout button and buy them one at a time. My dad and I both play WoW and are both going I got 1200 in the que and he got 2100. So you need multiple computers and if you select a quantity you WILL not get tickets!

Now for my question we used the same battle.net account to buy the tickets but I only got a confirmation email on ONE of the tickets. However it says both tickets are bought and I have a receipt for each so is this normal? Or should I contact support about the second ticket?

EDIT 2: I got the email confirmation of the second ticket!

25% left and over 7000 ahead of me... and I clicked RIGHT AT 10 on the DOT....

and at one point it went from 35 minute wait to a 1 hour wait in the span of 3 mins... WTF?

I'm going to be upset if my failing mouse is the cause of me not getting tickets. I clicked the drop down and went to click '4' but i apparently double clicked so it re-selected 1 and then when i went to click 'purchase' i only had quantity of 1. so i had to hit the back button and change to 4.... :x

    Any good mouse recommendations?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand didn't get any. Fucking hell, thank you stupid mouse. /sigh

It's normal, that's what it showed when I bought my 3 on Wednesday.

I'm gonna pass on Blizzcon. Besides, I have my tickets for the San Diego Comic-Con and I don't feel up to spending that same amount for a 2 Day event.

I wanted to go but tickets were too expensive, and I'd be flying from Kentucky to Cali. If I wasn't paying for a wedding later this year and tickets to Jamaica, I'd of already ordered them.

Hello from Australia, my trip was ~5k total including spending and hotels when I went in 2011, (Week in Hawaii, Week in Anaheim, includes Disneyland).
BlizzCon was amazing. Gratz on your tickets and hope you have fun. I wish I lived in America or Canada because going to conventions from Australia just doesn't work, especially when I can be busy and for me to consider going to a thing like this, I'd have to go for at least like, a week or two to make it worth my while.

    Yikes.

Probably better than you, probably also a casual these days. Go on, keep being elitist.

Tbqh, when you consider how much people get paid in Australia, 5k isn't too bad once a year kinda thing and I'd do it again, it's just trying to find time, because I don't wanna spend like the 2.5k for return flights, just for 2 days, gotta build up a big holiday or something around it which requires time availability, something which I just don't have currently.

Got my ticket on Wednesday, was 600 in queue. Tried again today since I found out a friend wanted to go. 9000 in queue, was sold out by the time I was 5000

For those who are going, have a lot of fun (especially if you haven't been before)! It's really a fun event if you like blizzard products.

Last year there were 26k attendee's so I think i's 30k this year approximately; but look at the tips I wrote in the OP that's the best way to get them, as if you select quantity it takes to long to get tickets, and then BAM your way behind in the que. For example I Wednesday I did that before I found this tip out and I was down to 1500 then they sold out. I've been trying to go to Blizzcon forever and this year with this method is the surest way to get them!

i always buy virtual ticket cos im from the uk and to get there it would cost me well over £2000 which i dnt have rather spend £25 and watch it at home, shame they never cater blizzcon for the europeans by having it in europe and dnt give me it takes time to move stuff bullshit they got the fucking money to hold blizzcon in europe maybe they will do it for an anniversary thing

I was planning to go next year with a coupole of friends on my gap year however is it quite an effort getting the tickets? like you have to be on your pc on the second they are released?
