I was waiting to see a big evolution on Anduin skills as priest, maybe forced to get his "inner powers" because Garrosh, but nothing happened.

What do you guys think would have been the end for the Anduin story against the warchief? I was waiting for some Super-hyper Smite or something like that.

Anyway, this is a humble homage i did a few months ago for both of them.

I guess we had already that "young brave hero vs cruel leader" type of story... During the mallet scenario...
But who knows... According to Velen (Anduin will lead the armies of the light) so we will see him ganing powers anyway

I'm generally against Deus Ex Machinas and Sudden Power Surges. They make for bad storytelling. But that's a very fine picture you got there.

I like Anduin because he is a sane, calm and rational character in a world where every other major player gets carried away by petty hatreds at the drop of a hat. I don't need him to be all-powerful. We already have plenty of characters like that.
I also don't need him to square off against Garrosh. I feel that's a role much better suited for either his father, or any one of the Horde racial leaders.

Hopefully anduin would end up as mangled shapeless mass of flesh. The very fact that sue survived 5.1 in disgrace.
