We just had a few hours on this guy and had a question about the nest that spawns the tank needed add.

Someone on the forum said that it starts on the 2nd nest that spawns and every 3 nests after that. Can someone confirm this?

Are there any changes to how the nest spawns in normal? (For 25 obviously)
From what we've seen so far it seems like its a cycle of 9 nests.

Nest 1 to 5 are bottom ones
Nest 6 to 9 are top ones

Nest 5 and 6 spawn together
Nest 7 and 8 spawn almost together
Nest 9 and 1 spawn together, this is where we repeat the cycle at 1 bottom again.

So essentially for heroic you want a tank at nest 2(bottom), 5(bottom), 8(top) and back to 2.


This is how we're handling the dps and healers. We basically separated into 5 nest group + 1 tank, melee group.
The 5 nest grps each have 3 dps and 1 healer, the tank grp has 2 tanks 2 rogues and 1 healer. Only 1 of our tank is responsible for nest.

How are you guys handling caw, quills, and puddles from feed young? Is the feed young buff needed to beat the soft enrage? Do we need to soak the puddles so there's enough space? How far spread for caw? Is a healing cool down necessary for every quill?

Yellow is the first nest to activate and these colours are clockwise. Colours are Yellow, Red, Purple, Green, Blue.

Tank nests are then as follows:

2 Red down
5 Blue down
8 Blue up
11 Red up
14 Purple down
17 Purple up

We only get to 8 or 11 nowadays though. This nest ordering is pretty simple, 1 for every nest that activates. If it's a double or triple nest spawn the number still goes up by 1.

They're both the same, just numbered differently.

On the second one you listed, the calls go like:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 + 6, 7 + 8, 9, etc. On the first, a double nest is still only listed as 5, so the numbers go up slower.

Can someone confirm that theres 5 bottom nests, 4 upper nests in 1 cycle for normal and H 25 man and that they spawn as
1-4 bottom (singles)
5 bottom + 6 top (together)
7 top + 8 top (together)
9 top + 1 bottom (together)...repeat at 2 bottom
