Well, after nearly 6 years, finally got it.

I... it was a brainless ritual farming this mount, not sure what will happen now... I also made a lot of money from cloth and gear!

I know that feeling. I currently only have two pre-MoP mounts left to obtain (Drake of the South Wind and Mimiron's Head). At least when WoD goes live I'll have 4 new bosses to farm (Elegon, Horridon, Ji-Kun and Primordius).

Higher than you'd think actually but still always nice when that happens, especially if you have another person there that can use the other mount.

I have terrible luck with drops except for satchels I got for tanking Dungeons.

Yeah, I feel like the original dungeon satchels (first month or two) had extremely good odds of having a mount. Haven't seen one drop from a bag since the ZA/ZG revamp.

Just got Aeonaxx this morning before work. Only one in zone, saw it flying around in the NW corner, surviving the heart failure was the hardest part.

Hah, similar thing happened with me when I got mine. Was like 3 AM cause I couldn't sleep so figured I'd go check despite /who deepholm showing 5 people there. Apparently they were all AFK as I had more than enough time to get the tag.

Came back to wow after more than a year off. Before my break I was about 0/80 for the Raven Lord mount, first run I did since returning;

Then my first ever solo run in VoA, on the first boss got me;

Of the stuff that's still obtainable as a drop just Drake of the South Wind (guess I should have considered Plagued Proto-Drake but meh, saving gold in case my guild isn't able to down Heroic Garrosh in time). Unobtainable drops would include Black Qiraji Battle Tank, Swift Zulian Tiger, original ZA Bear, ToGC no wipes chest, Black Proto-Drake, original Epic mounts and the blue quality Brewfest Ram.

Nice, similar things seem to happen for me in that when I get mounts I typically get 2-4 a week then long periods of nothing.
