You need to update dots when you proc a buff. If you refresh em without the procs the dots gets nerft. (hard to master)

All dots snapshot.

If you gain more haste/int/crit/sp when you apply a dot, the dot will keep that until it's duration is over.

Which means, not re-apply your dots after getting some nice procs is a dps loss. But you have to learn when it's actually beneficial to do so.

he is talking about the addon affdots....and yes it updates when meta procs...if ur addon isnt updating when it procs it is prolly out of date ..and u should always keep your addons up to date.
