Question First PC build. Would appreciate some advice ;)

    Hey guys,

So I've decided to build my very own PC for the first time. I basicly want a PC that is capable of running the newest games on high settings (no need for the maximum settings) + running software that I need for my study. (SolidWorks, Keyshot, photoshop, illustrator, indesign, etc.)

    • Budget: € 900
    • Resolution: 1920x1080
    • Games / Settings Desired: Basicly I want a PC that can play the newest games on high settings + run the programs listed below without any problems
    • Any other intensive software or special things you do: SolidWorks, KeyShot (rendering), photoshop, illustrator, indesign
    • Country: Netherlands
    • Parts that can be reused: nope
    • Do you need an OS?: Already have windows 7 ultimate
    • Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)?: nope.

Now I've done some research and came up with the following configuration, since I'm no hardcore computer expert when it comes to parts and building for that matter some advice/feedback would be greatly appreciated ;-)

    PSU: Cooler Master B600 (http://www.coolermaster.com/product/...ries/b600.html)
    CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646i54670)
    GPU: MSI N660 TF 2GD5/OC (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-vid...d-n660tf2gd5oc)
    MoBo: MSI Z87-G43 ATX LGA1150 (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z87g43)
    RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/crucial...4g3d1609ds1s00)
    HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seagate...ve-st2000dm001)
    Case: Fractal Design R4 (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/fractal...se-fdcadefr4bl)
    Dvd drive: Samsung SH-224BB
SSD: ?? What would you guys advice? No experience with SSD's at all.

Also I would like to mention that I probably won't be overclocking.

Thanks in advance for the help!

    Just a few notes.

-Make sure you get the 4670K, not the 4670, for overclocking.
-It MIGHT be worthwhile to sacrifice the SSD for a better video card, if you want to play GPU intensive games on Ultra.
-I have reservations about the Cooler Master B series PSU, as I can't find it on any of my reference sheets (it may be new) and coolermaster is notorious for having both great, and terrible PSUs.
-If you DO get an SSD, the 120/240 Samsung 840 is good
-If you DONT get an SSD, I'd recommend the Western Digital Black drive
    Gaming: Dual Intel Pentium III Coppermine @ 1400mhz + Blue Orb | Asus CUV266-D | GeForce 2 Ti + ZF700-Cu | 1024mb Crucial PC-133 | Whistler Build 2267
    Media: Dual Intel Drake Xeon @ 600mhz | Intel Marlinspike MS440GX | Matrox G440 | 1024mb Crucial PC-133 @ 166mhz | Windows 2000 Pro

There is a Korean review here, translation leaves a little to be desired. This is probably a quite average or below PSU.

I'm sure you'll be able to find something better.

    Edit:

    PSU: XFX PRO550W €55
    PSU: Seasonic M12II-520 €59 (Modular)

If you can afford it I would suggest a 7870 XT/LE like this:

    GPU: PowerColor PCS + HD7870 2GB GDDR5 Myst €210
