    Blizzard just took them out. I believe they were under the impression that they weren't very popular, but I can't remember there being an actual reason for it. Seems like a double standard that you can now raid without any social interaction but they went out of their way to remove the preexisting comparable arena format.

    I dont think its important why they were removed at this point.
