just finished the Masked Empire book... anyone who hasn't read the novels I'd recommend reading Asunder and Masked Empire before DA:I's release as they set things up nicely and are both very well written
Asunder focuses on the growing tensions between the mages and templars/seekers and essentially does what DA2s story tried to do but much, much better. includes a few familiar characters (Wynne, Shale, Fiona, Leliana) and some interesting new ones
Masked Empire is about the start of the Orlesian civil war and the suffering of the elves. also includes brief appearances from Leliana and Teagan

obviously we'll be meeting at least some of the characters from the novels in Inquisition and will be able to pick sides in several of the conflicts
I'd expect a side quest to help Michel track Ishmael, options to side with the Elven Rebellion, Gaspard or Celene and either mages or templars. wouldn't surprise me if Felassan's mysterious 'boss' (my guess is Fen'Harel himself) turns out to be the main big bad

Never say never, we could always just tweet for them to include one in a DLC. I'm pretty sure it would make a cool as hell boss fight. Storming a legendary castle that holds a mythical weapon guarded by an Old God.

So, in the end, EA pressconference can be summed up in a short sentence:
"I expect nothing and i'm still let down."

I dont think they even tried to get anything out there but their own name, as if to declare "We are still here!"

Yea, I wanted to see more top down mode they promised, how big the zones are now they are not goinbg to be as open zoned as previous, and the UI like map screens and inventory, are there gifts like previous games? So much more that needs explaining and yet they havent shown us hardly anything.

I really hope this game delivers as I am a big DA fan

About ZERO ... or atleast pretty close same with Spider Morrigan BW does not like to put stuff like that in their games. Probably too sexy for the majority of players.

Oh and a hydra dragon would be fun preferable as a mount but enemy would work for me too.

just saw the ign presentation for DA3
was pleasantly surprised by the graphics, looked much better during actual gameplay than in the character introduction vid they did, where everything looked shiny like it was covered in vaseline.
gameplay seems solid, they also showed a fight with a dragon wich looked very fun, also mutiple mounts confirmed.
Just hope the writing/story holds up, the character quotes so far were pretty cheesy.
Pretty hyped for this + witcher 3, i think RPG fans are in for a real treat
