Xsplit giving me a headache

So I'm trying to stream but whenever I open xsplit my whole pc goes all fps-lag mode.
Let me rephrase that: My whole pc's refresh limit goes down the drain it seems.

For example: I get +-100 fps in the bank in SW on ultra (with little people in it ofcourse) but when I look at it it's like I have sub 25 fps.
It's not only games that are lagging either, it's the whole pc. Whenever I drag something around I can see the previous window for 0.5 seconds.

It's really annoying so if anyone knows a fix that'd be great since I'm not really a fan of other streaming-programs. (:

Apparently disabling windows aero has fixed the pc fps problem (atleast for WoW). Now there's only the "my fps looks like total crap while playing LoL" issue left.

I am. Such a pain to navigate camera games while on windowed mode.

Try turning off the aero-style in the x-split general option if you're Vista/W7 user, that did some magic to me while streaming
