They have said there will be an expansion after mists, and one after that, and one after that.

so now that we know the next expansion will be to lvl 100. the ingame calendar in wow ends on august 2014, with blizzard saying they want to release the next expansion faster than before and SoO being the last raid it wont be as long as other last expansion tiers

next expansion will be to lvl 100 and with only one raid featuring sargeras and that will end wow.

People are going off the new weapon heirlooms with are from 90-100.

In-game the level limit set is to 225 or so. However that doesn't mean it cannot be changed, that is just how Blizzard made it upon Vanilla release.

also with Heirlooms going from lvl 90-100 either Blizzard is trying to make heirlooms span across two expansions (which has never happened until the second expansion came out) or the next expansion will be a ten level expansion.

Actually i do believe there is a 255 level cap based on coding. I dont know how easy that would be to change though.

It's not 100% it will be, but it's more likely than not.

WoW will end in the year 2000, because Blizzard's server will suddenly read '00' as year instead of '99' and everything will crash.

Actually nothing is simplier than that. You just insert another level system when players reach hard cap, something like Paragon levels in D3.

What can you possibly hope to get out of a thread like this?
The fact is that there is no limit or fixed number to anything in programming. What is, can change. What isn't, can be. Mulling over what the World of Warcraft will look like making irrational assumptions leads you nowhere.

That might've been the plan, but given that Titan development failed and they de-staffed it and are starting over, they need to keep WoW going for at least 3-4 expansion packs.
