    Since you didn't put Dexter on the list try it out. I have watched a lot of shows over the years and Dexter is one of my favorites. Season 5 and 6 are bit "meh" compared to 1-4 but it picks up again during 7 and it is on the final season just now.

    The Good Wife, no it's not a whiny drama, it's actually an amazing lawyer-series.

    So many times this.

    Farscape and the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica are two of my favourite TV shows EVER, they're both just absolute classics of the genre!

    Also, as I'm currently rewatching them and remembering how epic they are, I'll throw Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel in there classic Joss Whedon, showing how he became the Geek Juggernaut he is today.
