At the gear level you are playing, play whichever specc / style you prefer. Learning to master that style will boost your dps far, far more than choosing any specific specc will. That being said the current FOTM dk specc is DW Frost, do with that what you will =).

Hey there Wiz/Rullarn. I'm not alllll the much above you in gear (link in sig) and I'm currently DW for 4 reasons.
    1) I got a 522 1h to go with my 502 1h (over my 502 1h)
    2) Frost is considerably easier for me to play, and during progression I want the easiest spec possible so I can focus on the fights more.
3)Nuroshen (3rd boss) drops a 1h so it's going to be easier to gear up DW early.
    4) For soloing my DW frost gear is better as I have a tons more mastery than I would with UH.

Whatever you choose, make sure you enjoy it.

I think 2h is still ahead of 1h, but not by too much. So just go with whatever you enjoy playing more, unless one spec is so far ahead that it'd be stupid NOT to play as it, that's always what I've done.

Play what you feel the most comfortable with. They are close enough that that will make far more of a difference.
