BM AoE + pet?

I've been curious if the AoE pets (worm, chimaera) are worth using for AoE damage. I remember their AoE being nerfed a lot since cata and wasn't sure if it was worth it or if it impaired their DPS while channeling said abilities.

I haven't tried it personally, but I remember reading at the start of MoP that it's actually a dps loss using any of those abilities. I assume because Beast Cleave isn't in effect for the channel.

Yep this ^ unless it's changed I'm pretty sure the worms burrow for example will not active beast cleave while underground.
