in terms of me personally, been playing WoW since release with a couple of breaks here and there plus i quit this year, so cost of standard edtition WoW/TBC/wrath/cata and CE version of MoP, plus D3 standard edition at full box price, then approximately 7.5 years of monthly subscriptions to WoW, plus all mini pets at the time they were released excluding new releases and charity releases (lil'KT/lil'XT/lil'RAG/heart of the aspects/pandaren monk/moonking hatchling), along with sparkle pony/disco lion/falkor mounts, plus several faction/realm changes over the years so all in all looking at a grand total of around:

£1640 on my account.

well.. suffice it to say ive spent a alot of money on blizz games.. about 1500E on wow and d3, and with the old games im geussing the total amount whould end up around 1800E.. wich, considering the tousands of hours of entertainment ive gotten form it is pretty cheap. im guess ive at elast enjoyed 5-6 hours of gaming for every 1 euro i spent. wich seem more then fair to me.

Dear lord, according to my calculations about 2800 euros (aka about 3800 dollars), during 4 years. Let's just say that I'm never satisfied with my race and/or faction. I'm also starting to think why I never seem to have money for anything else :P
