    Ordos Vs tier

hey so im wondering, what would give the most dps? fles tier set? (with normal leg/hands from celestials) or haveing ordos items in all those slots?
i currently have none of these items. just wondering as a heads up once gear starts comming in, if i should replace ordos items with tier parts or tier parts with ordos items
can a set bonus really make up for all those more stats 20 more ilvl gives?
    all ordos items http://www.wowhead.com/npc=72057
    flex tier http://www.wowhead.com/itemset=-1054
    normal legs http://www.wowhead.com/item=99158
    normal hands http://www.wowhead.com/item=99168

My gut feeling is that our set bonuses are powerful enough that they will outweigh Ordos gear, but femaledwarf and/or http://www.simulationcraft.org are your best bets.

    In that case....

Since you are only running LFR/flex/ordos/celestials, I'm going to just say that the difference between 4 pieces of flex tier (and the associated bonuses) compared to 4 piece of Ordos gear would be within a few percentage points.

Since you don't care enough to do it yourself, I'm assuming you don't care if the difference is only a few percentage points.

Also... You're assuming a hell of a lot of loot luck... good luck getting four pieces (chest/legs/head/hands/shoulders) of gear off Ordos. His loot drop % is around 15% and he has a huge loot table, so if you are lucky enough to win something, it will likely be something like a belt/neck/bracers or something you already won.

alrdy won 3 different items from ordos,(but not on the hunter) my mage have gotten double procc 2 weeks in a row, shoulders/chest first week then neck and chest again 2nd week and my Dk has gotten 2 items and hunter has gotten ordos neck, tho most weeks i get nothing, but still, if i get all this, the drop rate cant be that low, and indeed, since mage alrdy got a drop he alrdy have getting 7 different items will be a pain

Tier is worth more than the warforged pieces. Even on flex. Lfr, you can just do Ordos.

Just to chime in, my tier drop luck has been horrid. Only just got 1st piece this week, a norm helm off Thok. But my Ordos luck? I've received Head, Shoulder, Chest and Legs from him. 2 of them in 1 week due to extra roll. Nor is my luck any good on trinkets. Not seen a one of them.

Forgot to add Ordos has dropped the legs twice for me.

"Hunters view nature as a force with which to ally. They spend much of their time with an animal companion. The bond that forms between the two is rather strong. To attack either is to bring down the wrath of both. With powerful attacks in melee and at range, and a friend willing to put its life on the line at your command, the Hunter makes a potent addition to any group."

Ordos drops loot? I thought it was just a fancy training dummy that rewards gold.
