Yea, I'll pick the 4770K system, I see that an actual RAID is easilly within the budget. Does that require anything special besides a load of HDs?
Edit: Holy balls, RAID controllers for 6 disks typically cost $800 and over. Never mind that.

Thanks for helping me out, I'm putting together my system then. Since I live in the Netherlands this does mean some additional hunting but I got a full components list now.
