Low budget notebook for WoW needed!

    Hello fellow champions!

First of all, I know that a computer will work ten thousands times better etc. etc., althought my fiancee insist on having a notebook (i.e. laptop), which she could also take with her to the university and so on. The problem is, we need one that will handle WoW well.

She has some old Asus currently which is unplayable in 25man raid environment, so we thought about getting her a new notebook.
At the moment we were considering the following two notebooks:
    • Lenovo IdeaPad Y580A
    • MSI CX61-0NF-227PL

Both of these notebooks have similar specs, except for graphics cards and CPUs.
The lenovo one has the Intel Core i3-3120M 2,5 GHz CPU and Nvidia GeForce GTX660M, while the MSI one has Intel Core i5 3210M 2,5 GHz and nVidia GeForce GT 645M.

Not sure if these two are optimal choices, althought our budget is quite limited, therefore I'm asking you for help in chosing the best we can. If you could say which one would work better for WoW mostly, occasionally some other games, or if there's any better notebook we could get for the price around these two, I'd be really really thankful. The said budget is around 700$.

    Thank you in advance!

P.S. I'm really sorry if this is incorrect subforum for those types of posts.

Both are pretty solid choices. I could raid with my 3 year old laptop on decent frame rates.

Well, I can't really buy things off Newegg, gotta chose some local store which sadly never heard of this laptop.

Will there be no difference between those two?

The difference, you mentioned is already. The cpu/gpu combo are different. For normal game machine id prio the GPU, for wow, prio the CPU. The performance of the 660m is comparable with the radeon 7750 where the 645 meets the 7570. For me, id go for the 660m version.

Lenovo online offers a lot of great deals for their line of laptops:

    IdeaPad Y410p @ 1366x768 resolution $749
    or
    IdeaPad Y410p @ 1600x900 resolution $769

Both are i7 CPUs and GT755M GPU's. If you want a 15.6" screen Lenovo offers the same equivalent in that screen size for roughly $100 more.

Wow, those two seem more than amazing within the price, I'm like, wow.
Now gotta find out if I'm even able to buy it off this site..

    Thank you kindly!

Well, as far as I understood, I can't buy those outside of USA, and sadly, those models doesn't even exist anywhere near me. The ones that I found with similar parts are around 1100$...

It is much easier to give good advice if you tell us where you live.

I live in Poland, so somehow getting it here would be the best option for me because of warranty and payment options.
