Well doesn't really matter at this point in time. All the professions are pretty even over the board and they offer the same bonuses.

Other than Engineering, nothing really stands out. Blacksmithing depending on your class. BS will pull ahead for Fury Warriors who favour gemming Crit. Similarly for Paladins that favour Haste.

Bs is best, because you can choose which stat do you want. Even more if you combine it with jwc.
I would say eng is more for fun in bgs.

next exp gems will be HUGE so BS will be the best 1st choice. and since they are nerfing procs/on use from professions my guess would be enchanting for then 2nd one.
