What kind of question is this, who cares if someone watches anime? People are entitled to their opinions, but if you're going to judge a person because of the things they're entertained by, then you're got some issues yourself (especially if it's the tv shows someone watches). Some people are so ignorant.

As the title says, do you believe people who watch anime are not normal? I've been getting this insult a lot lately and have ceased to watch anime under the circumstance that it is something most people do not like, and to fit in with society I have stopped.

If you are so impressionable and easily succumb to opinion and peer pressure, maybe it is best for you to avoid anime as some can be fantastic, violent, etc.

Personally I've never enjoyed any Anime, I liked Dragonball Z when I was younger, but I out-grew that because I didn't like the senseless ever growing godlike force that the characters were becoming, it became disconnected to me, and rather silly.

I don't think watching Anime is weird. I think there are some creepy and weird Anime Series out there, and I personally don't like it, but it's no different from watching a Cartoon, Sitcom, or any other form of TV.

Like most things, as long as you don't make your hobby the driving focus of your life, you should be able to enjoy what you enjoy. I dislike, even greatly so, 99.999 percent of all anime, but I spend hundreds of dollars a year buying miniature figures to paint for a game(40k) I don't even play anymore because it's what I enjoy doing and I find it calming.

In that case.....I find the best time to watch anime is in my tub, right around 3 A.M. My neighbor doesn't appreciate it though. I'll likely call the police on him.

Don't listen to the naysayers. I have met tons of people who have watched anime their whole lives and yet have good social lives. Two of my friends have girlfriends. Another had sex at a young age.

Now, I am not the greatest example as I have had tons of problems my whole life but anime or video games never caused them. Don't take shit too seriously when it comes to what these people say. The opinions of shitty people should not matter.

Depends on what you mean by "anime."

If you mean "Japanese animation" then you're fine. If you just mean animated porn, then probably not so normal. I've seen at least one tv show get the two mixed up. /shrug.
