Will this computer setup run wow on ultra with 60 fps

    ZEUS EVO THUNDER 2000 SE
    • Intel® Core™ i7-4770K CPU
    • Extreme Overclock 20% or more
    • 16GB XPG V2 1866MHz RAM
    • NVIDIA GTX 770 2GB Graphics
    • GIGABYTE Z87-HD3 ATX Motherboard
    • 2TB SATA3 7200 RPM HD
    • LG 12X Blu-Ray Combo Drive
    • CFI Boreallight Gaming Case
    • MS Windows 8.1 + Office 365
    Plus a few extras

Yes, it'd be fine. I've had my PC for almost 6 years and the only things I've changed are my RAM and GPU. I've ran 60 fps previously, but ever since Mists of Pandaria hit, I've been at a constant 30 fps. As long as you have a good CPU, you're fine.

16 gb is overkill unless you're doing video editing and *maybe* streaming (I say maybe since I don't know 100%) -- cut down to 8 gb to save money
core i7 is also pointless for gaming, unless video editing and *maybe* streaming.

save money, cut back into the i5 4570k and 8 gigs of ram. you'll save ~$150-$200 (without looking here) and will not notice a difference at all in gameplay.

Get the i7 however i would cut down to 8 gigs of ram....as far as wow on ultra, you will be able to run wow on ultra at 80-120 fps.

    What's this all gonna cost?

Look, warcraft is probably the worst benchmark test you can run to determine if a computer is worth spending thousands on. You could literally have the best computer ever and still run into the same problems you do with a $400 one because the game engine bottle necks and shit starts hitting the fan. Basically, you're a big dummy if you play wow on ultra in the first place.

Any computer with components from 2010 => combined with internal core/gpx/network tweaking will make the game run as smooth as it can. And if you want loading screens and reboots to be significantly faster you should invest in a ~120gb SSD hard drive and keep your operating system and game on that drive.

They have a whole forum dedicated for this sort of questions here: http://www.mmo-champion.com/forums/3...d-Upgrade-Help

Having said that, yeah, that setup will run WoW just fine on your settings. Consider getting a SSD disk though, you'll shorten game/zone load times greatly and you need it if you're going to do streaming etc.

You include a bunch of useless specs regarding if it will play WoW on ultra with 60 fps, but fail to include the resolution of the screen you will be playing this game on.

As others have stated, drop the I7, and drop it down to 8GB of RAM. With the money you save, you can get an actual hard drive to put your game and OS on, and not a 2TB mess.

Don't forget cooling. All those fancy components won't mean anything if your computer can't be cooled properly. I suggest investing in liquid cooling.

As ruuBEN said, I would cut CPU/RAM and get an SSD with the money saved. It does more for the general responsiveness of the system than CPU/RAM for that money.

This looks prebuilt system, which is probably overpriced and I don't think there is a PC out there that can run wow on ultra @60FPS in 25man raids.
Maybe liguid nitrogen cooled CPU OC'ed to 6Ghz+
    PM me weird stuff :3

It is prebuilt but I can upgrade to the sad and downgrade to i5 and 8gb it also has liquid cooling and fans

If you can afford it, keep the i7. But if you have to pick between i5+ssd vs i7 w/o SSD, then go for the first one. Another option is to get i7 and a bit later when you have the money just buy an SSD.
Make sure when you get different ram it's with 1600mhz, the current RAM is not support by Intel (it will still work but at reduced speed).

Similar build like this one, has been suggested to me in the past. I left out the case, but basically it should be something in this area of pricing and parts, to play WoW on max settings, maybe with shadows turned town if not off, you could probably go with a way cheaper video card and still pull the fps you're trying to accomplish. Obviously on fights where you're stacked up and killing a boss, or in 25mans just so much going on, especially fights with that crappy sha effect, it won't be sitting at 60 just fine, but still you won't be down under 5 fps.

To clearify, the setup would run ultra AND in raids, just at something like 30-40FPS

Depends on the resolution. You probably won't get 60 FPS on ultra at 1920x1080. WoW is very poorly optimised for the latest hardware.

Really? MY 650 GBP COSTING PC THAT I built last year runs wow on ultra- with 90+ fps in 25man raids and 140+ fps in SW busy time of the day.
And that is no frilly fancy crap for 650 im hoping you can tell..
