Upgrading GPU.

Hi guys

As my title indicates I am looking to update my computers GPU for the build I pulled together in a previous thread.

After looking around I had my local shop suggest getting a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB OC Edition http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=26081

However at 879 dollars (Australian so about 770 US) I kinda feel that they are pushing this for the price more than anything.

So I was wondering if you guys had sone insights to share regarding this GPU. Is it worth the money or not?
Additionally what suggestions do people have for decent GPUs these days?

What do you mean 'decent'?
780 TI is the best card from nVidia. AMD counterpart would be 290x.

I have 270x and I play games on Ultra @1680x1050.

If you have crazy setup like 3 monitors or 1440p, then you want the best cards, but if you play on single monitor 1080p, I doubt you will need anything over gtx770 or r9 290.
