Good 15" gaming/fast general use laptop?

Currently don't have space or time to build a PC, and I have to have a laptop for travel, some study and jobsearch. Plus I finally got promoted at my current position and realized I'll have to put off major expenses like relationships until I fix my job situation etc. So, might as well get rid of this Asus S56CA-WH-31 laptop that's been a bit of a hassle (randomly powers off, sent back for USB ports problems, massive bloatware, missing drivers, can't disable touchpad when typing without mouse plugged in Win 8.1).

For travel purposes and being able to easily get a nice sleeve and sit and study in a cafe I'd like to keep it to 15" max size. I'm a big fan of being able to quickly log in and get going without having to wait for things to load, something that's a major problem in Win 8 but I suppose not really the fault of my current Asus.

Budget would be about $1500. I'm currently addicted to XCOMEU so performance isn't an immediate problem with this machine but I would like to also be able to at least mess around with more demanding things like Warframe/similar and Might & Magic 10: Legacy.

replaced my ultrabook with this, runs all games I play and is compact + as awesome as can be. Paid 1200 eur, unsure how much in USD.

- keyboard is semi bullshit though but what can you expect from a 15'' sized one.
