Resto Druid Haste Breakpoints

So I'm at an item level of 552, with over half of SoO Heroic kills available to me. (We're on farm for the first 8 now.)

That's my character. I'm running 12k Spirit. Anywho, is it worth sacrificing 13,56% mastery for 17,94% haste to meet the next breakpoint? (13.163 instead of 6.652)

Yes, it's always worth it to sacrifice only mastery for the 13k breakpoint. And for you even more, since you currently have 3500 haste wasted anyway. So go for it!

Technically not wasted, I just haven't reforged my items since I got an upgrade. But alrighty.

He means being at the 6652 haste breakpoint is wasted. You either want to be at 3043 or 13163. The mastery given up for an extra tick of WG @ 6652 is not worth it at all. You go for 3043/13163 because it effects rejuv ticks (which is all that matters when compared to the opportunity cost of mastery).

Oh, I see. That makes sense. Welp, I got to jump into heroics today with the next haste breakpoint. I've never been happier. My healing was insane, I managed to decimate the other healers by a decent margin. Thanks guys!~

I have the same question. I've 552 ilvl and I'm planning to start raiding 10 man hc on this character. Group I'm going to raid with has 10/14hc done. Is it worth going 13163 haste? I'm going to heal with disc priest.

Yes. You don't lose a single socket bonus and can maintain your current spirit level.
Your gear is not very strong for a 10/14 hc group, so don't expect to be anywhere near the disc.

100% worth it especially when you are progressing on the next few bosses, faster and more ticks per cast on your HoT's will be worth the mastery sacrifice. You shouldn't really be at the 6k BP as its not worth it (there is maths behind it!) either go down to 3043 and stack mastery after that or go 13163.
