Why so many people hate on LFR.(the feeling forced to raid content you don't wanna do-part)
I totally loathe Heroic.. and "hard content" that just leads too loads of wipes and wasted hours.. but our guild decided that we are gonna proceed into heroics now.. and it's so god dam boreing xD why even try if you know you are gonna wipe? It's just pointless xD and then spending 4 hrs on the same boss.. like what's the point? So i basiclly like sleep at the keyboard.. barely focusing just pressing my buttons making sure i don't stand in sheet, but Seriously.. how people can think heroic is fun baffeles my mind xD You do a few tries and.. then when you always wipe before the boss is even below 50% health.. then you know every try is gonna be like that for a long time so why even bother trying? if you know it's gonna fail anyway?
But i do feel "forced" too attend since i don't wanna loose the raid spot or the connections and ofc i wanna be there if there actully would be a kill at some point,
I raid for gear, fast and easy gear Doing the same boss for hours for the sake of 0 items.. just is not fun.. i find it weird how some people can enyoy it

I did a very minimal of heroic raiding on current content, maybe 3-4 different bosses during DS. It took just a little bit more skill than normal at the time.

I do agree with you though that I don't understand the appeal of banging your head against a wall 4 hours a night with no progress and no guarantees of loot will drop for you or if you'll even get it.

I've never really cared about pushing content, just farming it.

with my guild it was actually similar, we progressed as far as we could and then after some time of experiencing what the op has been through, I decided to unsub (having too many alts and burning out in orgrimmar didnt help either).

Too progress my character, feeling stronger, you know i raid for gear so i can do stuff outside of raids faster xD solo old raids, do dailies, kill frogs on timeless, just random stuff

You found your limit, might as well stop raiding for a while or find yourself a normal only guild. If you're only raiding to keep your spot and you find it boring you're probably not really contributing what they need to go where they want to go.

When you have all the normal gear what is there left to get? Heroics can get boring at times but when things start connecting it gets exciting, knowing it will die, then you get your wish list of what should drop.

I think people wipe hours and hours to progress in a raid (as a guild). It's not my cup of tea. I just do a pug normal garrosh only and don't bother with HC.

My participation barely matters if there is 16 other dpsers aswell.. so it's not just my limit xD

I used to wipe for weeks/months in vanilla-LK, because I wanted to see the next boss. I wouldn't ever do that in current WoW.

That's the problem with LFR, something I'm wholly glad to have never experienced.

Raid progress is a million times more of a motivator, than gear. Dress up dollys... Seriously?

Because if I want to raid HC and not be forced to do LFR I would find another guild.

From what you presented:
You want to raid HC - ok, anyone capable can do it at some level
You dont want to do LFR - I dont understand why you are forced to do it? do you miss gear?
HC loot is main motivator - Nothing to argue here eyther, but its not a best one.
Dont want Stalled progression - Nobody wants it, If you cant see any progress (not just %HP) just move to better, but progress is done with people learning, tuning tactic and minor improvements that can suddenly drop boss from 80 to 20 in one pull so keep this in mind.
