New gaming PC for around 2k $

Hey, as i managed to gather some money i want to get a new pc and let my very old laptop rest a bit.

    Budget 5800-6400 PLN (1900-2100$)
Resolution: Going to buy new display planning for Dell U2414H
Games / Settings Desired: i would like to run smoothly Wow (Ultra) and few other applications in background or a movie on a second monitor
Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc) None that i can think of now
    Country: Poland
    Parts that can be reused:
    • SSD MX100 256GB 375 PLN (~120$)
    • Cooler Cryorig R1 Ultimate 250PLN(~80$)

Do you need an OS? nope as a student i will get a free one
Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)? monitor and headset (Superlux 681 these are the ones i am looking up to now)

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sVLXYJ this is link to list of parts that i have picked there is no RAM in there coz i could not find one i'm planning to buy so here is a link to a shop in Poland: Team Vulcan 2x 8GB 2400MHz 594PLN (~195$)

Would love to hear Your opinions about this setup and what You would change or add to it to make it better. Btw about CPU I'm still thinking between 4690k or 4790k.

    Thanks for your time.

Edit: post in wrong forum could you move it to http://www.mmo-champion.com/forums/3...d-Upgrade-Help sorry for problems

Would be better instead i think to link the website you are planning to buy from

I see you got in the build another Crucial 256, is that the one you got or planning to get another too? Also in that budget you need a 2nd monitor besides the Dell one?

Hey thanks for fast reply, i can buy from:

    morele.net
    esc.pl
    agito.pl
    komputronik.pl
    salurion.pl

What I'm worried about is that these sites are not in English...

Probably newegg but i don't know how their site will be exactly named in Poland they are supposed to start operating this month.

~Massive~ overkill for what you're wanting to be able too do. I think I spent ~800 on my build all together, and it does that, and more running on 3 monitors.

    amd 8320
    asus M5A99FX
    8gigs ram
    radeon 7870 IceQ
    120gb samsung ssd
    2x 1tb HD

I highly suggest you drop the i7 and go for an i5 if you're sticking with intel

I think i will stick to i5 as the effectiveness in games is similar and difference in price rounds about 100$.

About SSD and cooler i already have it.

So far i have decided to get:

CPU: Intel Core it 4690K 879 PLN
CPU cooler: Cryorig R1 ultimate (Already have one for 250 PLN)
    SSD: Crucial 2.5'' SSD MX100 256GB 388.90zł(Already have one)
    monitor: Dell U2414H 922,00 zł
Hdd: Western Digital Caviar Blue, 3.5'', 1TB 199zł
Psu: Corsair RM Series 650W FULLY Modular 80+ GOLD 399.46zł

GPU Looking at tests for r9 290X here i find it quite worrying about the temperature that is slightly higher, when comparing Gigabyte windforce with Sapphire tri-x, is it worth buying Gigabyte WF3 r9 290x for 1600 or Sapphire tri-x r9 290 for 1500. Between Gigabyte and sapphire difference is in guaranty of 36 for Gigabyte and 24 months for Sapphire. Price for r9 290x oc of Gigabyte is 1699, isn't it better to buy non oc and do it yourself?

RAM Now looking at tests at Xbitlabs.com it seems that what matters more now are clock rates. As of this i have found for 289(PLN) Team Group Vulcan 8GB (2x4GB) 2400MHz CL11 gold which i think might be better deal then the ones you have linked

M/B: i don't know anything about motherboards could you explain why this one is better over the one I have linked?

When i started lookingfor the parts you hadn't posted yet that you have the ssd/cooler.
Gpu, those are benchmarks the actual difference will be smaller when you game.
Ram makes 0 difference in gaming between 1866 and 2400. What would matter would be at same Mhz less CL.
Mobo just chose that cause its cheaper and its one of those minimum boards that has all the features. You're fine with either, you can obviously buy better and more expensive boards its your money.

About parts i thought it's obvious that i have them, but nvm that.

About GPU i will have to read some more to decide as for now prices are:
    1. Gigabyte r9 290x 1600
    2. Gigabyte r9 290x OC 1700
    3. Sapphire r9 290 tri-x 1500

Thanks for preparing overall concept about this build I'm going to order it probably by this friday after i decide what to do with MoBo and GPU. BTW to lower temperatures and improve airflow in case is it a good idea to buy additional fans right away?

You won't need that with the case i linked unless you decided to go with another. Ppl go nuts with fans, more doesn't necessarily make it better. The only reason to buy new fans is because the one at case are noisy or its a cheap cause and only has 2 fans and you want add a 3rd. How they are positions, intake/exchausts is more important. Generally speaking, some cases might be different, front+side pull air in, back+top exchaust it. Thats the ideal is most cases tho there are exceptions.

If I were You, I would go with GeForce instead of Radeon.

Edit: Oh, and I don't understand buying WD Blue, you should consider:

Well thats only my opinion I got it and it works much better than WD Blue did.
Still, look also for geforce cards like 780, 770. Wow will work much better than on any other Radeon, if that is your main game.

Edit. haha tattoo, every time i find you somewhere, random instance, forums, didnt know it was you /offtopic

I'd get 16gigs of RAM and 2 or even 3 monitors.

There's no reason for 16GBs unless you know you're going to use it or if you're crazy like me.

Additional monitors get expensive. Usually I'd say stagger the monitors if / when you need it or feel like it.
