Your group found thok easier than spoils? I know you said they were estimates but is that because of your comp? I am just curious, was it maybe you had a good comp for thok but a weaker one for spoils?

I wouldn't say our composition was great for Thok. We 2 tanked it (Blood DK, BrM) and 3 healed it (Resto druid, Resto shaman, Disc priest). The encounter took us nearly 2 progression days, where Spoils took us about 3 progression days.

Our compositions for each encounter remained largely the same because we only had I believe 11 people during progression, so very little room for change between encounters. Spoils was difficult because we were doing things fairly sub-optimally, and our other tank went from being too slow to too aggressive, so it took some time to get things flowing well. Our strategy wasn't great for Spoils and there was a lot of ways guilds were doing it at the time with very little information.

Thok for our guild was 'generally' an easy boss because it was simply planting people in a circle and healing and doing damage as hard as you could. Which was a pretty easy task for our guild. I know a lot of guilds around us had a hard time on Thok, but even though he was incredibly hard on 10 man back in October/November, he wasn't too much more difficult than Malkorok for us. We made up for it by sucking major balls on Spoils and to some degree Paragons though, lol.

Guess depends on the guild. Back in Firelands we did Heroic Alysrazor after Shannox, most guilds opted to do Rhyolith but we ended up doing him after Baleroc because nobody in our guild liked Rhyolith at all.

Started heroics week one on 25-man. I'd say we're a more average guild that's very persistent.

Garrosh Hellscream - 403, we had huge attendance and monk kiter replacement issues. I felt he was easier than Paragons personally.

Killed Garrosh about 4 months ago now.

Spoils : Over 100 before we killed it and over 200 wipes total (don't ask me how)
Thok : 40-50 (easy once we brought in someone's Paladin alt for BoPs)
Blackfuse : 74 (easy once we started letting mines go through. Most wipes were due to the belt team screwing up)
Paragons : 80-85 (joke on 10 man)

Spoils nearly broke our guild. Our disc priest stopped renewing his sub shortly after we got it down. It took us over three months just to find another competent healer. Basically three months of doing nothing.

No idea about the rest.
