What competetive dps PvP spec has LEAST cooldown dependency?

I have been playing my enhancement shaman and really enjoyed it since vanilla. I am, however, noticing I am very "weak" outside my cooldown stacking.

I am interested in trying another class that is not cooldown stacking dependent to be good.

Anyone have some good suggestion? MM Hunter? Or are they just stampede dependent?

Hunters arent that cooldown dependent. Neither are warriors actually believe it or not. Affli locks are still pretty dependent on cooldowns because they need to have early pressure through demon soul etc.

Shadow doesn't have many cooldowns at all (unless you talent into more, I think it's just Shadowfiend and Vampiric Embrace [which is a healing cooldown, not a damage one]) but I'm not sure if they really count as "competitive" right now.

Balance druid and DK, DK doesnt even have any bonus damage cd like warrior except gargoyle.

I'd argue both are extremely CD dependant. Balance Druids for incarnation/CA and DKs are cd dependent for defensives.

My opinion: Shadow Priest, Ele Shaman, Arms Warr, Hunter. Pretty much all of those get the majority of their kills/pressure without pressing a single major CD and outside of Hunter none of them really rely hugely on their defensive CDs.

Balance does very good job without CA, I dont even use it that much in pvp because 3min is really long cd and its important to learn to play without.

Force of nature is better than Incarnation, and I dont really count FoN as real cd.

I reckon CA is as important as demon soul is for affli locks (or whatever the CD is) basically meaning it's needed for a strong opener.

Good shout on the FoN / Incarnation, forgot Boomkins all swapped to that (havent played this season much).

I disagree with your statement about Boomkin damage though, I don't think I've ever lost to a Boomkin in Arena who hasn't been in Celestial Alignment.

    MM Hunter
    Elemental Shaman
    Arms warrior
    Shadowpriest

Also stampede is borderline useless in pvp since its nerf. Its still used to throw people off though swarming their screen with pets and sounds could make some players disoriented. Doesn't always work on experienced players but a little extra damage and knockback is something i guess.

Arms warrior in mop is very cd dependent, skull banner and recklessness lands the kills. Wod arms is less cd oriented.

Aff locks rely on cool-downs and procs to do their damage.

I'm going with MM hunter as my answer.

    MM Hunter probably.

    Chimera shot all the way.

    Hunter and Warrior imo

Hunter with Aimed Shot and Chimera Shot
Warriors with Colossus Smash + Slam crits, Overpower helps keep the pressure up

You want to mash buttons and win? Hunter and warrior no doubt. Warrior will certainly be the same come WoD and hunters too probably.

I'd agree with these and add arms warrior. Shadowpriest is probably the most true only because what burst cooldowns lol.
