Playing Hammer against a 'swap first, think later'-Artanis I'm positioned in our gate between towers, just a tad inside. Working as intended he shows up, phase prisms me out, dies within our walls while I flatten their Tracer, who just stood peacefully next to him. Laughs were had in chat.

QM Matchmaking seems a bit off aswell, last night we faced several teams that had player levels under 400/500 while most of us are 1000+.
4 level difference showed it pretty well too :/

Some misc ramblings. We had Tracer and Genji and some juicy targets on the enemy side, but what do these idiots go after most of the time? Johanna and ETC. The fucking tanks. Ofc we lost that one.

Also i have a rant about Varian. Hes way overtuned imo. I played him as a noob and was easily the top killer on my team. I mean the guy has everything, hes a gap closer, can deflect most hits like Genji, has self healing and able to choose between tankin with a ridiculously powerful taunt, a melee dps and one build with another extra gap closer. Op much?

He has a horrible early game and negative waveclear. And other tanks/bruisers are just better. Everything he does is strictly single target. His attacks are single target, his lockdown is single target and his peel is single target. That's why you only see him in blowup comps.

Doing my placements and most of the games have been full clown fiesta (gold-plat). Mostly due to stupid drafts. Like in my last game the enemies drafted 4 melee (Arthas, Illidan, Samuro, Rehgar). Our Kael'thas (first pick) had a field day.

Finished last season at Gold 1, went 5-5 on placements and got placed Gold 4. I don't even think it's the placement bug, just the shitty way placements work in this game.

Unranked as well. I have regularly people between low silver and low Masters on my team. In one game - was between 5 and 6 am though, the enemy team had a last season HL Master 4000+. Dude played Chromie and had almost 76k hero damage. Our three assassins, I was one of them, were between 26 and 37k. Quality game, great entertainment.

Purchased a stim pack for the event, and boy I'm regretting that now.

Holy fuck Sylv is OP with new minion changes. Lost both forts in under three minutes on BoE. Didn't help that my team would cluster around me for easy 4-5 man Kerrigan stuns. They didn't even have a tank. We lost in under 11 minutes simply because they had to stop pushing when I managed our only two kills by flipping someone over our gate twice. Probably would have been under 7 otherwise.

I've lost 7 minute games back in the day, and this felt just as bad. My team was trash, but stuff like this shouldn't happen.

Matchmaker is just wierd. Currently in an Unranked draft, where everybody in my team is on an at least three game winning streak.


Update: After four picks we have no solo laner no tank no heal, so that's about to end...

Enemy team lost 4 times fight for robot, they died 7-15 times. They were 2 lvls ahead in the end and won. We died max. 5 times.

While the objective is atrocious in this map, them being 2 levels ahead in the end means they did something better than you. Either they got way too many picks from ganks, they soaked better, they splitpushed better or whatever, but they definitely did something better.

5) Tomb of the spider queen, our 5th pick picks Illidan out of nowhere - I quote: "I'm good at Illidan". So we went against Lili and 2 tanks without having a tank ourselves. The other team had a jolly time, they were even trolling this Illidan when he used his hunt ulti and would cocoon him just to completely ignore him and walk away. In the end he managed to nonetheless accumulate 6 deaths and do the same damage as our Rehgar.

Its not the job of your 5th picker to fix your draft though. Had the 5th guy during placement matches highlight nova, his history was full of nova, he picked nova, we lost horribly and my team was yelling OMG report. I just accepted the loss from the start.

Its not the job of your 5th picker to fix your draft though. Had the 5th guy during placement matches highlight nova, his history was full of nova, he picked nova, we lost horribly and my team was yelling OMG report. I just accepted the loss from the start.

I never understood the "hey i'm not the last pick so i can pick whatever i want, guys who pick after me will have to fill!" attitude. But it's hilarious to see 4 players like this in your team so you end up picking Uther because you have no tank or healer and blamed for not tanking and not healing. L fucking OL

Since start of x-mas i have a score 4-18...Man im losing so many games. Just lost again 3 games in a row. They all finish before 15 mins (my first game today we lost in 8 mins)...we just get annihilated. In 2 of these 3 games my team had 2 Support & Specialist...while other team had 3 assasin, tank, support. Last game our supports were Lucio & Ana, they both managed a score of 0-8 in the end.

I know ppl get distributed randomly. But in my last 22 games it didnt feel so random. I always have ppl who ignore objectives, afk, die 10+ ...

Man wtf!

Yeah, this past weekend was pretty bad. I went in with like a 65% win rate, sitting at like 55% now. I had ETC at 10-3, ended the weekend at 10-9. Tuesday was infinitely better, and I actually finished 2 games ahead for the night. I know better then to play during times when the brain-dead window-lickers are likely to be on (like during holidays), but I was feeling confidant with my win rate. Oh well. No shot in hell I'm playing ranked during NYE weekend.

I main tank to try to set the pace of engagements, and it didn't even matter. People getting picked left and right, or just straight up engaging when I wasn't willing to commit. Or no follow up on easy picks cuz the dps are doing fuck knows what.

Yeah, i know that from playing WoW battelgrounds some years back. But following common sense, they should be in both teams, so its again equal. Those 3 games in a row, where we got beaten in 12mins thats fucked up.

I ended up with 2 wins yesterday, even both were again with 2 supports.

My placements went terribly after they reset them. I was gold 4 then placements put me in bronze 2. Somehow, though, I managed to put together a string of wins (with a handful of losses) and climb to Silver 5. I know that is not very good, but it felt much better knowing that I was going to be able to climb out of the silvers and hopefully even out of the golds given enough time and patience.

I had a couple of games that looked like sure losses, but this season, I've decided that I'm going to work hard on not going on tilt and we went from having the enemy team beating on our core, to wiping them and pushing all the way back to theirs to end the game. My hero base is definitely opening up, in general, but I've played mostly Diablo and damn, do i love him.
