It seems the Satanic Temple is trying to utilize the precedent from the Burwell v. Hobby Hobby ruling to seek a faith exemption from state abortion "counselling" (read: mandatory peddling of falsehoods to women seeking abortions) laws.

Atheism is considered a religion, by some, can they use that to their advantage and say that their "strongly held belief in no god" is being infringed by the state when they say "under god" in the pledge, or that its written on our money?

As much as I wish it were possible for something like to happen, but Atheism is not a religion and it wouldn't get through the courts. Though it might shut up the annoying Christians who claim it is a religion. That's probably a pipedream as well though. Since when have facts ever gotten in the way of the fundamentalists...
