The new fable is going to play like that as well.
Sort of a diablo-esque 4 player gauntlet wannabe, but with a twist, a 5th player can lay traps and summon and control baddies in an attempt to stop the players.
Sound familiar?

They absolutely deserve much of the hate directed towards them. But they also get tons of unjustified hate or huge overreactions to minor things.
I'm not seeing what's worthy of hating on EA about this so far, but I've seen hate pointed their way for this game already.
Pretty sure they did it together. BioWare definitely made their fare share of mistakes that were not things forced on them (or possibly forced on them) by EA.
Guess what...those 2 games are kinda ripoffs of this old game:

Game made in year 2000.

Don't sweat the details!!!
They look like two very different games. Evolve is Aliens vs Predator (vs Marines) with a low player cap and no predators. Shadow Realms is Left4Dead where a person replaces the "Director" algorithm (or multiplayer Dungeon Keeper).
Her hall is called Eljudnir,
her dish is Hunger,
her knife is Famine,
her slave is Lazy,
and Slothful is her woman servant.
Isn't this what Dungeons and Dragons was?
is there an unwritten rules somewhere that i don't know about that stipulate there should only be one game for a given genre and all other would be smite down in righteous fury?
Evolved is not even the first 4v1 game type, I rember a indie compnay made a game like this, don't remember the game though.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3 is a 1v1 where you develop your base and try to economically and tactically to outplay your enemy.
Starcraft 2 is a 1v1 where you develop your base and try to economically and tactically to outplay your enemy.
Starcraft 2 and Heroes of Might and Magic 3 are the same game.
Wait...
This thread amuses me. "Here is my opinion, and everyone who disagrees is Bioware's fanboy". Really? Why would you even start this thread then? It is clear that you are not interested in any discussion.
On a side note, gotta love Bioware haters. Hating on Bioware became some kind of virtual sport, it seems. Blizzard released MtG clone - praise Blizzard, keep expanding your area of influence! Bioware releases some other game's clone - ugh, I don't respect you Bioware.
I looked into it and it is actually a 3v1 type game, but it is basically the same. The game is called Dugeonland. So if anything they just stole it from them.

oh my goodness every MOBA ever is a direct copy of every other MOBA ever. ! OUTRAGE!
I'm not a fan of EA, not in the slightest, but for every legit thread about something annoying that EA does there seems to be 5 more that are complaining about EA for the sake of complaining.
And?
Evolve is basically a direct copy of Citizen Kabuto.
got an email with an invite to play the beta. there is a reason the email is in the spam folder.
Cod has a new campaign, new weapons, new multiplayer levels every year. Zelda has been recycling the same weapons, villains, and dungeons since the 80's. Zelda recycles enough to make cod blush. The same weapons, villains, dungeons, and princess in every single Zelda for the most part. It's almost as cheesy as bowser vs Mario round 35
Every MOBA is a direct copy of Aeon of Strife, Starcraft custom map made in 1999! Burn DotA, DotA2, LoL, HotS, HoN and Smite with hellfire! Damn thieves.
Also, let's burn every RTS for being based on the ideas of Dune 2 (1992). Let's burn every FPS after Wolfenstein 3D. Let's burn every RPG after Colossal Cave Adventure (1976, lol).
And, whatnot, let's burn all the PCs in the world as well. Damn thieves, stole this, made over 2000 years ago:

It's just the hip thing to hate on EA/Bioware right now. Has been for awhile. Granted, they've made their fair share of mistakes and do deserve some of the flak they get. But honestly, a lot of people rage WAY to much on them. They still come out with decent games. I know I've had fun playing several of their games (bugs, glitches, and all) and am looking forward to several more of theirs in the future.
And no, this game does not look like a direct copy and paste. Does it have similarities? Yes. But all games do. Especially ones within the same genre. Hell, I don't see all these damn MOBA clones that play exactly like each other catching any flak (at least not on the level EA/Bioware seems to be getting). So chill out.
And it's obvious the OP is one of those gamers who has a personal vendetta against EA/Bioware. So really, nothing to see here.
