I never really put much stock into this item. I mean, if you stole it from someone and then killed that person, it obviously didn't work for them.

When looting a boss that I know has a very rare drop a legendary or mount for instance, I always make sure I have enough space in my bags for all the loot. I use auto loot and I'm paranoid that I'll see it pop up and DC before looting it.

On a side note I swear every time I have looted a 1% item I have had a slight lag delay from clicking to loot and the loot box appearing. My heart skips a beat everytime it happens now.
