    Why isnt Melee mobility being nerfed in WOD?

    They nerfed the ability for all casters to cast and move at the same time and reduced all the instant spells, yet they have not reduced the mobilty all the melee classes have atm.

    All this is going to result in is Warrior, dk and healer comp being the best for 3's as casters will get completely wrecked.

    Maybe because casters have 40 yards range and melee don't?

    Because melee is suppose to have movement as their strong suit, that's what they're aiming for with WoD last I heard.

    Also ranged isn't countered as much by roots and snares, they can still do things at least. Melee can't.

    casters don't have to cast while moving to be effective, they just need ways to create a gap and they have that

    throw in the whole "if someone lags, you can't hit them in melee all of a sudden" bullshit and ranged is fine just like it's always been

    Well playing as a priest, healing priest specificly I have exactly 1 form of CC come WOD, that comes as a mind control, aoe fear or a root.

    Apart from that i am going to get completely wrecked regardless.

    Melee mobility is ALREADY nerfed compared to casters in the range difference. Casters have a range of 40 (sometimes more or less), melee have a range of 5 (Sometimes more) in order to deal max damage. Thats 700% more range!

    Blizzard will likely nerf interupts in PvP if it remains too much an issue.

    Imagine a game in which casters and melee had the same mobility (like Mists of Pandaria.) What reason is there to ever play a melee when a ranged can do the same job, but doesn't have to be right next to their target, making both PvE and PvP much easier for them? Why would anyone take a melee in a group when they're an obvious liability?

    Ranged have range, but can only use a few weak attacks while moving. Melee can attack while moving, but are limited to a few weak attacks if they get stuck outside of melee range.

    A silence will not help whatsoever against melee, hell they can already get out of the roots, warriors just lol at any fears I will use and a mind control involes me channeling it and not being able to do anything else.

    Unless they haved nerfed all the slows melee have right now it is going to be extremely melee friendly come WOD.

    That 40 yard range is meaningless when every melee has multiple gap closers on short cooldowns, while casters have lost tons of CC and mobility.

    If the game goes live like this, and it will as they are running out of time and have not even attempted to balance pvp yet, melee are going to absolutely dominate casters.

    Like someone said... look for interrupts to be nerfed more if there is a problem. Ranged was WAY TOO MOBILE in MoP. Great expansion, but ranged mobility was retarded.

    Yet melee were still able to sit on casters 24/7 np.

    Good, the only ranged I have is a healer...

    ..and it's only one I've been able to play decently in pvp, despite how much I've tried with melee. I'm glad my melee characters are getting a balance in WoD

    Nice vague statement. Melee have mobility. Because they have to use their abilities in melee range. A pro for a con. But casters, casters want to kite and pull off their entire rotation. MoP was world of castercraft. Not the other way around.

    Skill issues then. They are way more casters than melee viable in arena currently...

    There are 11 melee in the top 100 EU 3c3 right now. And many of them are warrior just because warrior are OP (for a melee at least).

    Maybe should you cry less on forums and practice more. Cause casters don't have any problem climbing ladder.

    No, people are asking for a flat 90% reduction in movement speed of all melee and all gap closers removed
