NVidia GTX 970/980

Hello all,

I would like to know if once this cards come out on the 19th of September they come out as reference or non reference, from their respective sellers such as HIS, MSI, ASUS etc..? I remember last year the AMD's R9 290's came out and they all came out as reference cards and then the following year we got too see the custom ones. I guess I'm just wondering if its the same process with NVidia.

From what ive heard there will only be GTX 970 with custom cooler at launch, because Nvidia changed something on the reference PCB of the GTX980 during late developement.

I hope custom ones within a few weeks of launch of 980, need to upgrade from 580 ..

I just got today the EVGA SC GTX 970 2.0, and it is performing perfectly!
