How to watch other games?

this question might sound silly, but every now and then, the usual "part" of the LoL Client, where i can watch others play, is removed for something else.

so my question is, is it possible to still watch random matches even when this happens, or do they simply remove this option randomly whenever they advertise some random stuff?

dont mean the layer, alrdy found the lil [x] for that ^^

what i mean is for example right now, there is the "Road to Worlds" chapter 2 advertised, so no spectator mode matches are visible
