Good, not stupidly expensive tenkey mechanical

    Hey all.

I'm looking for a mechanical keyboard with red switches at least. I'd be alright with a tenkeyless, but I'd prefer to have them if possible.

I really have no budget, and availability is what matters most. I'd obviously like to not spend unneeded money, but I am fine with paying for a quality product.

I've looked into the CM Storm and the Razer Blackwidow, and somewhat the Ducky Shine.

I'm US, and don't have any computer shops close, so amazon and newegg are my likely go tos.

WIP but there are a few decent options in the mechanical keyboard section:

I've followed it a bit, but I was more or less trying to gather people's experience with various products.

That thread is one of the reasons I've leaned toward the Shine and Storm. I haven't really been able to find many red switch tenkey boards, although my search hasn't been that great tbh.

I want a tenkey because I actually use my numpad quite often when doing anything numbers based.

I have the cm storm quickfire rapid with red switches no numpad. People say to get red for gaming, but the keys are too sensitive for typing in general. Wish I went wth brown switches, but still a good keyboard if you prefer red.

Thing is I'd like to keep the numpad if possible. I use it quite often.

If money isn't an issue I'd suggest having a look at the roccat ryos mk pro. I can't recommend it enough except for the price tag. As for the keys I got red, I wish I got black. The extra resistance on the keys would help a lot with typing.
